The Allianz Group is the leading P&C insurer in Germany and part of the Allianz Germany Holding, which operates globally with app. 150,000 employees in more than 70 countries. It employs about 1,050 people in Germany. With a record turnover of 9.9 bn Euro it contributed almost one third of total revenue of the Allianz Germany Group of 36.4 bn Euro.

Allianz Germany operates its P&C via several entities of which the Allianz Insurance Entity contributes the biggest share. Compared to the previous year, the premium volume increased by 4.1 percent. For 2.6 million reported claims, claims payments to customers amounted to 3.9 bn Euro.
