Also 55 percent of the air space of Bosnia and Herzegowina are serviced by SMATSA.<\/p>\n<p>The agency, founded in 2003, has its headquarters at Nicola Tesla Airport, Belgrade. SMATSA is a member of the <em>European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In 2016, SMATSA acquired its own, autonomous LINET lightning detection network in order to enhance the weather information for air traffic and ground handling with highest Quality.<\/p>\n<p>Exemplary availability, highest Detection Efficiency and Location Accuracy as well as LINET&#8217;s reliable short-term prediction (nowcasting) of thunderstorms play the major roles in increasing safety and efficiency for the air traffic in SMATSA&#8217;s area of responsibility.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":2097,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","tags":[],"portfolio_entries":[31],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.10 -
