In Order to correlate failures in the grid to lightning events, Sarawak Energy Berhad procured a complete and autonomous LINET Lightning Detection system, covering the complete area of responsibility. Besides vital management reports, grid-analyses, minimizing down times in the energy supply by extra fast lightning correlation, a major aspect is also the protection of outdoor maintenance labor.

The LINET data produced by the ultra-precise LINET system, thus builds the reliable and fast decision-making basis for all lightning related cases.
